Taiwan has so many interesting small museums, and Joe from Yilan dropped me a quick note to inform me of yet another, his website, the OldThings Online Museum, and an upcoming exhibition of folk art. The museum specializes in artifacts from Taiwan's past....Presented herein is a small collection of Taiwanese folk art for your viewing pleasure and further research. Because Taiwan folk art is a reflection and extension of Taiwanese art, culture, history, economics, psychology and sociology, we hope this site can be an educational experience which gives one insight into these various facets concerning Taiwanese culture.
