Grades almost done....almost done....
  • Are Taiwan stars actually involved in prostitution? Next magazine says yes...

  • A traveler from the Philippines visits Taichung, Cultural City. Luckily for our rep, Chaon, Red A, and AJ were out of town that day.....

  • David visits Jinguashi. Nice pics.

  • Dunkin Donuts is here, says Jon. Taiwan Pundit remarks too. Krispy Kreme next?

  • Marc finds a letter about Taiwan's idiotic visa policies.

  • The awesomely generous Red A has a new blog. Send him some love.

  • Michael buys traditional crafts in Thailand.

  • Cold Goat Eyes blogs on the incredibly revealing spat between the classless UK femme and the brilliant and beautiful Indian actress.

  • Raj over at Peking Duck asked me today why no one is blogging on the budget mess. Because you already did such a good job, man.

UPDATE: Ok, Raj, here's the real reason: Paul M. Fussell, in probably the best book on WWII ever written, Wartime, observed that the horrors of WWII were so great that a generation of writers were impelled to silence, that writing on the war required overcoming a powerful urge to say nothing. Well, looking at the budget and legislative fiasco this fall, I totally understand. Taiwan News says it all:
As a result of bitter partisan rivalry, the Legislature passed only 55 bills this session.
