That's a great pic. I wonder what it means? Does it predate Chiang Kai-shek when Taiwan was still known as Formosa? If so, why would the island be considered a province instead of something like "colonial possession"? I am assuming you took the shot in Taichung. What sort of insight did the sign's owner give you? I would be interested to know. Once again, great sign!

I think it is a pro-TI sign. Whatever it comes from, it's great.
