English QC Aarrgh

My friend Danny Bloom found this bus stop to nowhere. Note that the English, while missing the n in unknown, is a faithful translation of the Chinese. Chinglish isn't a language issue; it's a quality control issue.

Man-tits outgrowing your shirt? Have we got a solution for you!

Lol - it's true. The sign reads "Bu zi dao." Perhaps the sign company had to lay down the signs down beforehand before they could have the entire system worked out. Maybe a contracting thing.

Means 'ECFA'? or formal declaration of Taiwan Independence?

Now that ECFA is done, Taiwan and China are talking about cultural issues. When you see this stuff everywhere it makes you wonder whether or not they truly are culturally the same---no matter what Taiwan says.

"Man Bra Coffee" ... ? Has Kramer been here?

I believe we would be in agreement Greg, "cultural exchanges" are absurd at this point and all the more reason to be concerned.

ECFA, cultural exchanges, Chinese investments, colonization ... a slow absorption, all part of the grand and predictable plan.

A method that the rest of the world (U.S., in particular) can certainly find palatable, considering all the crap they've got on their plates today.

However, I believe that Taiwanese have been subjected to a Chinese cultural exchange for the past 60+ years.

So what's new?

After having spent much of this period; under martial law, living in "White Terror" fear, afraid to speak their native tongue in school, discriminated against, being slaughtered on the streets, if the Taiwanese do not understand the Chinese and the KMT by now ... will they ever?

Do Taiwanese actually think that the KMT/PRC coalition have their best interests in mind?

In my mind, the questions remain to be answered;
What will it take to wake the the Taiwanese up?
Where are the young voices whose future is so uncertain?
Are they destined to be sheep?

Wait! It should be KMT/PRC/USA coalition.

Without the USA this KMT/PRC bloc is
zilch.

Sage, actually, according to Kramer,

"Man Bra" = "Bro".

You know, like, Maria vs. Mario...
