Like many Taiwanophiles, I think old Taiwan stuff is cool. Here's a pic a reader found for sale on e-Bay: a photo of the Bank of Taiwan building in Shanghai prior to World War II. During that period and during the war there were many Taiwanese in China, citizens of Japan carrying out their business there, and in need of banking services.
