George Kerr Obit from scholarly perspective
Jon Benda over at Notes of a Former Native Speaker flipped me No 52 of The Ryukyuanist, a newsletter about Okinawan studies scholars. In it is an obit for George Kerr, the author of Formosa Betrayed and Formosa: Licensed Revolution and the Home Rule Movement, 1895-1945. Because there is no text conversion, I'm forced to display it as a .jpg. Enjoy!

There's also a longer biography of Kerr in that issue--see page 3. By the way, I've tried--and failed--to find the e-mail address of the author of the article (A. P. Jenkins of the Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts). Anyone know his contact info?
