Global Views, which is not pro-Green, released a set of polls on the county chief elections at the end of the year in Pingtung, I-lan, Nantou, and Chiayi. The results?
In I-lan, the DPP candidate has a 55%-44% lead. In Pingtung, it is 58-41. In Chiayi, where the KMT split, it is 54-44. Only in Nantou is the KMT leading, crushing the DPP candidate 61-33.
It's early, but that is good news.
