邵漢儀 (HAN-YI SHAW) is the son of 邵玉銘, who was one of the elite hardcore KMT hardliners. The Shaws are the brains and mouths for ROC's propagandas and lies.

I can't speak for Han-yi Shaw, but his father Dr. Yu-ming Shaw is a well-respected and distinguished scholar. Dr. Shaw's "An American Missionary in China: John Leighton Stuart and Chinese-American Relations" was published by Harvard University Press, a reputable and independent press obviously not affiliated with the KMT. Moreover, during Taiwan's democratization process in the 1980's, Dr. Shaw was a reformist who advocated for freedom of press and was personally responsible for lifting Taiwan's longstanding government censorship of publications. During this time, he also founded Taiwan's public TV, a non-profit and politically-independent station, which he modeled after PBS after being inspired during his days as a graduate student in the US. Dr. Shaw grew up in southern Taiwan and has been sympathetic to Taiwanese nationalism. He is hardly a "hardcore KMT hardliner".

To defame others and their personal integrity based on your political bias is unethical. Following your logic, we should dismiss Mr. Turton's writings since his writings are clearly DPP-leaning and must therefore be DPP's "English-speaking brain and mouth for DPP's propagandas and lies".
