Authoritarianism in Taiwan is like HIV. It can hide in the tissues and organs of the government apparatus and occasionally flare up, even when it seems to have been killed.
The ROC constitution will always serve to fuel the authoritarian nature of its followers until the constitution is scrapped and the KMT collapses or scraps its creed as a Chinese party.
Just mentioning that livestream is off air at the moment.

PandaMa is still letting Taiwan be sold out I see.
Shocker!
Hoping this is isn't just another minor speedbump on the road to annexation!
Interesting that they are protesting inside the legislature, though. Hopefully, it grows into something substantial.
C'mon, Taiwan!

Practical question: I heard about tourists here and there who got on the no-entry list for participating in protests. Is it dangerous for foreigners to even be around when these things are going on? I was in the area and took a few pics of the crowds, should I not put those online?
Hey,
is there any way we (as foreigners) can publicly express our support for the students in Taipei? I would love to do so, as direct involvement is too risky (I have no wish to be deported as a foreigner involved in "political activities").
Keep up the excellent work.
