Taiwan president Chen Shui-Bian is expected to make a brief visit to the island on Wednesday. According to wire reports, the Taiwan president's spokesperson David Lee confirmed Chen will pass through immigration to hold a banquet and meet people during the four-hour stop. Chen is currently in Palau for a summit and will leave to Nauru on Tuesday and then stop on Guam before his return to Taiwan.[Taiwan] [Chen Shui-bian]

Prez to stop in Guam
I've been waiting patiently to announce it: the US isn't snubbing Chen at all. Guam news stations are saying that Chen will be stopping there on his way through. Thanks, America, for this tiny favor.
