The Shanghai Daily reports that China is requesting talks on direct flights between the two countries:Pu Zhaozhou, senior official of the mainland-based Straits Aviation Exchange Commission, sent a letter to the Taipei Airlines Association to invite his counterpart to talk about cooperation in the Spring Festival charter flights, hoping to reach an agreement as soon as possible, China News Service said today.
