Chinese Consumer Connection, the marketing knowledge website run by one of my closest and dearest friends, Clyde Warden, offers several new audio shows on Taiwan this month for his feature Talk of Asian Marketing.
The first is a great show with Robert Reynolds, a longtime professor here. Robert is a language scholar and Chinese specialist, funny, insightful, and warm, with many years of experience here. If you ever get a chance to take him out for a drink, by all means do so. The topic of the show is Naming Products in Chinese. Go to the web page, scroll down until you see "The Show." Then click on the link
Next up features another friend and colleague, Nick Pazderic. The topic of the show is Global English research supplement. Nick is an anthropologist, a genius, tremendously insightful, knowledgeable, and well-spoken. He's now out of Taiwan.
And finally, on Show 20, along with Dr. James Stanworth, a marketing expert who arrived in Taiwan a few years back, is a certain pudgy balding blogger. The topic is Global English consumption.
If you explore the other shows, directly underneath the request for registration, there's a link that says Click Here to Listen. Follow that.
