FYI: That cartoon above was drawn by New Yorker cartoonist regular Jack Ziegler who ''sometimes'' writes the captions himself and ''sometimes'' buys the captions from caption writer pals who send him captions that he can draw from. Not sure who wrote the caption in this Taiwan toon. Born in NYC in 1942, he now lives in Kansas, where he has lived since relocating from Connecticut. He has created an immense body of cartoons, some 19,000 of which, sold or otherwise, fill a couple of file cabinets in his basement.
ReplyDeleteZiegler sold his first gag to The New Yorker magazine in 1973 and is still at it today in 2014.
ACTUALLY UH THAT CARTOON WAS Published August 18, 1997 BUT STILL LOLZ...
