    Do you instruct your students to read your blog as an exercise?
    Or they read your blog as an exercise on their own?

    Will this protest change anything? Like you stated in your previous post, street demonstration had become background noise Ma in Taiwan, even to DPP, if DPP ever get the power back again.

    Any idea as to the building from which that first shot was taken? That perspective always gets used for shots of big Taipei protests - I remember seeing it in the early 2000s.

    A quote from one of my students:

    ""Every Taiwanese man, when they heard about Hong Zhongqiu, knew exactly what happened. The "crime" or "mistake" he made doesn't matter, the expected punishment doesn't matter, the investigation doesn't matter. We saw that report - every single Taiwanese man - and we knew it."
