Blogger was down this morning. AAiiiiieeeeee! I haven't been so psychologically dislocated since Modell moved the Browns. I immediately swung into action, tossed the kids in the car, and bribing them to silence with chocolate cake, obtained the necessary stimulants and narcotics to cope with the situation,



and consoled myself with my collection of soft core porn betel nut girl pics.


Fortunately the down time only lasted a few hours.

Saw this on Han Hsi W. Rd in Dali yesterday. I consider Han Hsi W. Rd to be the most dangerous road I have driven in Taiwan -- it has no lights and goes in a long looping curve that is blind along almost its entire length. There's no place to dodge, with the river wall on one side, and and a low wall on the other. Despite these dangers, people routinely pass here, and drive well above the speed limit. The results are obvious.


Saturday, election day, was an auspicious day for weddings as well. Here a wedding photographer films a procession at a stoplight.
