Feb Swenson's Meet Up

We will have the meeting of the breakfast club on Saturday Feb. 3rd at 9:30 am at the regular place, the Swensen's on Keelung Road.

The speaker will be Michael Hurst, President of the Taiwan P.O.W Camps Memorial Society. A long time resident of Taiwan, Mike is probably the most knowledgeable person here and most anywhere on the Japanese WWII POW camps in Taiwan and the thousands of Brits, Aussies, Dutch, Yanks etc. that were in them.

Mike was awarded the MBE (Member of the British Empire) by Prince Charles for his work here. If you want to know more about this corner of Taiwan History, Mike is the man to hear.

For the March meeting, to give you a little advance planning, we will have it on March 10th to give everyone a chance to adjust after the New Year.
