Mayor Ma's butt, which is enshrined in KMT headquarters on a painting as Rank reported last month, was in the news again a few days back. Those of you who think that the good mayor is a class act, think again.
It seems that the Mayor had an event with Mayor Hu of Taichung, in which a group of blindfolded women got on stage with the two men, and then felt the hind ends of the two men to see if they could distinguish one from the other. I don't know what's worse -- Ma's ego that drove such an event, or the women who would sign up for it. The letters and blogposts criticizing this event were a legion. It is apparent that if Ma keeps talking and acting on a national level, simply giving him enough rope will be sufficient to let him hang himself. The man hasn't a lick of political sense, and has the lack of spine to match that other defect.
Some pics taken from the above link:
And here a curious woman almost gets round to his "LP" (as the Little Bird is known in Taiwanese initial slang)
[Taiwan]
High comedy, but IMHO she's searching two feet too low to feel his ass....
ReplyDeleteI think the second pic was photoshopped, though. See how Ma's outline is jagged inplaces, and that the curious chunk cut out of his ass almost exactly matches the shape of the woman's hand? I think someone used some digital magic to reverse Ma to make it look like it was a Sausage Hunt.
Still, it's pretty damn funny!
Really? I gotta take a closer look.
ReplyDeleteWhy critize Ma for lack of judgement? Jason Hu used to be the Minister of Foreign Affairs under Lee Tung-Hui. And to be honest, is this any different that Chen Sui-Bien dressing up as Michael Jackson?
ReplyDeleteScott Sommers.
Well, feeling a mayor's butt is a bit... over the top (over the bottom?). Chen sounds like the old mayor of Baltimore, William Schaefer, who used to do a bunch of silly stunts to publicize the city back in the 70s and 80s. Nothing offensive, though (unless you consider Mayor Schaefer in an old-fashioned bathing suit, or Mayor Chen dressed up as Michael Jackson, offensive...).
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering why I didn't see anything on the TV news about people grabbing the mayoral butt. Usually the only things the TV news covers about Taichung are murders, underwear fashion shows, or suchlike...
Yeah - I reckon the 2nd one is photoshopped (although I had to click on the link to see the photos, can't see them in your article).
ReplyDeleteA bit of harmless fun, if you ask me. Personally, I'm getting a bit sick of seeing his face in advertisments in Taipei, so don't have a problem with him starting to use his other assets :)
I'm not sure that you can criticize his political sense ... he's got a better idea of what the electorate want than any other politician by a country mile ...

ReplyDeleteIt was on TVBS and repeated over and over and over (SOP for TVBS). From what I saw on the TV report, it was not such a big deal, just a little fun, and I didn't see any suggestive actions at all. At the time I thought it was just the normal reporting on one minute of anything to do with SEX.
Wow, that just gave me an idea. Someone should write an academic paper on the social impact of the sexual fetishization of Ma Ying-jeou. I mean, look at what you have to work with: the tight jogging shorts in the commercial, the tasteful nude of him strolling on the beach, the public groping in Taichung... you can see that its now forcing that fine-ass hottie Jason Hu to partake in the shenanigans. And what if Annette Lu gets involved...
ReplyDelete(OK. That was over the line. Apologies for ruining your meals.)
