Funded in part by Chang Yung-fa of Evergreen Shipping, founded by T'ien Hug-mao, former foreign minister and former representative to the UK (who got caught up in the passport for Yeh Hsiu-chen scandal last year). INPR have been around since the early 90s, doing very good research on Taiwanese socio-politics. They are very much American-style empirical poliical science - no French po-mo theory for them - but it's authoritative stuff. They ran a huge event last year just after the LY election.
