Doing business here for a couple years now and in Asia for decades, it surprised me how little I actually knew about Taiwan before.<br /><br />There is so much sensitivity built into the wording of everything written about Taiwan, it can be exhausting and frustrating to read from scratch while on guard for misleading bias. Your hints as to which perspectives can be found where are a great guide, especially for a busy professional in Taiwan.
