Prior to the 90s, the Communist Party did not allow their people to emigrate so back then if someone outside of the PRC described themselves as "Chinese", it was assumed that the were Taiwanese and Taiwanese were OK with that. Today, with the global invasion of mainland Chinese to every corner of the earth committing the most unimaginable assaults against good taste, Taiwanese are forced to distance and distinguish themselves from the term "Chinese" lest they be lumped in with the gawdawful mainlanders.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10698887.post-1468235245381761122016-06-13T13:34:08.241+08:002016-06-13T13:34:08.241+08:00A false flag attack? I don't ordinarily lean that way, but the woman had to know what she was doing.

Taking several things last week together, I sensed the usual pattern in Ch-Nationalists' tactics to 'move the mass'.

The pattern roughly goes this way:
1. create an individual rape, hate, or murder attack against their own 'actors', to build a case of victims.
2. make it emotionally charged with the medias controlled by the Nationalists, to direct hatred toward their political opponents.
3. demonstrate the military force which the Nationalists can mobilize, to intimidate the public.
4. organize thugs to attack the limited chosen weak targets, to bootstrap for a large scale mass riot against Ch-Nationalists' opponents.

- This woman has been seeding such attacks in public for some time. 1.) checked.
- UDN(聯合報), EBC TV(東森), 蘋果日報(Apple Daily)... have run hours of hours of coverage. 2.) checked
- Nationalist Officer Veterans did NAZI style military procession in front of President's Palace yesterday. 3) checked
- thugs were attacking the 'seeding' woman, and Taiwan Civil Government. 4.) waiting to happen.

And all these are in line with the movement of Ma Ying-Jiou, asking for Tsai government's permission to go to Hong Kong.

Another thing I would pay close attention to:
President Tsai will not be in Taiwan from June 24 to July 2, transferring in the US to visit Central America nations.

My conclusion:
Some hard-lined Chinese Nationalists see an window of opportunity to get back to you. They have a well-coordinated strategy and it has started.an angry taiwanesenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10698887.post-16721949090654989242016-06-13T11:23:16.461+08:002016-06-13T11:23:16.461+08:00fyi:

The bluntest I have experienced is this: a country that has so completely obliterated and then recreated its past – can it be trusted? What eats at a country, or a people, or a civilisation, so much that it remains profoundly uncomfortable with its history? History is lauded in China. Ordinary people will tell you every chance they get that they have 5,000 years of culture: wuqiannian de wenhua. And for the government, it is the benchmark for legitimacy in the present. But it is also a beast that lurks in the shadows.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/jun/08/chinas-memory-manipulators
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10698887.post-15759354689212938472016-06-13T02:00:49.796+08:002016-06-13T02:00:49.796+08:00Is there is a link on possible Asia policy team fr...Is there is a link on possible Asia policy team from Trump? Attack in Florida will give Trump a boost. More incidents like this might make Trump the next president of US.
