Private consulting for Tom Plat...Glad your back MT. Private consulting for Tom Plate/UCLA AsiaMedia?? They could definitely use your insight, the state department as well. You are one of the few people here that really understand the dynamics of what's going on. It is too bad the blue/green Taiwan government hates foreigners, especially Americans, they could also benefit from your knowledge but they are too thickheaded and racist to value an "outsiders" opinion.

Add: If Cheney and his Israeli backers drag the US into Iran, it could be big trouble for Taiwan. Why? China may see this as the window of opportunity to make their grab for Taiwan. The USA does not have the financial or military resources from stopping China from even just a simple sealane/port blockade of Taiwan. The warnings are on the wall and the Taiwanese should be paying attention to international events, but of course, we live in a media vacuum here where people only care about the latest scandal or the next model LV bag.

At the very least, the Taiwan government should have people stockpile some water and powmien just in case. This isn't from CNN news, this is what is really happening if you pay attention. The only hope is if the Congress get a back bone or if Cheney resigns.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10698887.post-42955590005555327092007-02-02T12:42:00.000+08:002007-02-02T12:42:00.000+08:00.
