Both he and Lee were detained in March and both had court appearances in September, with Lee's seemingly right after Zhou's. Tit for tat? Didn't they say shoplifting in China can get someone 10 years in the slammer? <br /><br />I think China is trying to suppress speech by making Lee an example, without overly antagonizing Taiwan with a long sentence. <br /><br />Extremely pleased to see the new NYTimes language on Taiwan's status: "China seeks to annex Taiwan, by force if necessary, though polls in Taiwan show scant desire to unify."<br /><br />I have no doubt Mike here has something to do with it, how many e-mails did you send them?
