The 'illegal,' bars being shut down are primarily street level restaurant/bars. Some are at the base of apartment buildings. Many paid and were given restaurant/bar licenses that are no longer legal.BigEllhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10078865892290733789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10698887.post-63148107523564976442011-06-29T22:30:03.772+08:002011-06-29T22:30:03.772+08:00Bet Gangster owned joints are doing a roaring trad...Bet Gangster owned joints are doing a roaring trade. We called the police several times, but nothing was done. Eventually, we moved out after a bar fight resulted in the facade being smashed at 5:00 in the morning, waking us all up. With an infant in the house, it wasn't the ideal environment. There are rules against these establishments in residential neighborhoods for a very good reason. It is about time to see some modicum of enforcement.Michael Le Houllierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18340108983853325219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10698887.post-63526150847702585442011-06-28T21:05:51.566+08:002011-06-28T21:05:51.566+08:00The Golden Jaguar is a "family" restaura...The Golden Jaguar is a "family" restaurant, Ok!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10698887.post-42668936814307934692011-06-28T20:37:27.726+08:002011-06-28T20:37:27.726+08:00So Taichung government winks at the "wine hou...So Taichung government winks at the "wine houses" that are homes to call-girls and gambling but shuts down _actual_ bars and pubs. OK. I follow that. Sort of.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
