TBVS Poll has Ma neck-n-neck with Tsai, Su

TVBS latest poll on the 2012 elections is out. The Chinese-owned, rabidly pro-KMT TV station has President Ma a point behind DPP Chairman Tsai Ing-wen at 38-39 (previous poll had Ma out in front 43-37), and even at 40-40 with Su Tseng-chang. He handily crushes Annette Lu and Frank Hsieh. Though Annette Lu can take some consolation from fact that Hsieh performs even more poorly than she does.

It's still early.....

The problem is, a DPP president can't do much without a parliamentary majority. Looking back on Chen's 8 years he was mostly a lame duck president, and its this deadlock of governance that necessarily will frustrate almost everybody with the DPP.
