House Next Door For Rent

Our house. The house next door has the same layout, etc.

I'm putting this on top for a while

The house next door to us is for rent. It's over 100 ping, and rents for NT$10K/month. Contact me (turtonm AT yahoo.com) if you live in Taichung and want to move out here, far from the beaten path. I'd love to get foreigners with kids in here.

hey turton:
I am interested in that house, but I am a hardcore pan-blue supporter. Would you still consider renting the house to me? I think we can be "great" neighbor.

Sure, if you can live next to me, I can live next to you. Play Axis and Allies? Even better, got kids? Send me an email.

I am not the landlord.

Michael, I didn'trealize you people in Taichung had it so good.

NT$11k a month for a 100 ping home--you could not even get close to 20 ping in Taipei for that.
And you have better weather to boot.

This place is great. I was just in looking at the house today. It's old, but in good condition. 4 large bedrooms and a fifth downstairs.

Not bad. I pay twice as much for half the space *and* I'm living 20 minutes outside of Taipei.

Maoman, the joy of living in Taichung. I think that's why so many long-termers drift down here sooner or later. Taipei is just tooooo expensive.

Hahaha,

my wife thinks there must be something wrong. Too cheap. Any ghosts? Bad 風水?

I'm totally jealous of your rent, too. Unless you're joking.

My pad is twice as much rent (split between two people) but a quarter of the size. Then again, I'm very close to the MRT, and right in the center of town.

I'll move down to the Taichung when the film festivals do. ;)

Nope, the rent's for real. The house has no ghost problems. The low rent stems from our distance from anything. It's a couple of minutes by car to the nearest convenience store, and there are no groceries or markets accessible on foot. There are no stores at all anywhere within a 15 minute walk. Lots of green though, and mountains right behind. We love this neighborhood.

Hi Micheal...

Still for rent or did someone snatch it up... I'm eager to make the move to K-town with my wife from Hsinchu ( been here eight years!) and would like to take a look at the place, the rent is incredible! Pleeeeeese let me know I've been to Khh 4 time this past couple of weeks looking for places with agents ( they just don't show me anything within my budget!) and I'm ready to settle long term...
