Rising investment in Vietnam

I like to see the island diversify its investments away from China, and here is more good news on that front.

Last year, Taiwanese businesses invested an estimated US $453 million to Vietnam, a record in East Asia since the Asian monetary crisis in 1997, starting a second wave of investment by Taiwanese investors to Vietnam, a local newspaper quoted from Chinatimes online.

Over the past 16 years, from 1989 to 2005, Taiwanese investors have invested more than US $8 billion to Vietnam, becoming the second largest investor to the country.

I'm bringing investment money from Taiwan into Thailand. That is the next frontier for the kind of stuff that my group does.
