Bola recovering with the kids
Yesterday somebody dumped acid or lye on our dog. Today the dog is up and has eaten, and is moving a little. It is still morose, although it moved to be with the kids when they were playing Battleship this morning. Bola's eyes seem clearer too. However, he is still weak, and has trouble standing up and moving.

I hope you find the culprit and are able to get your revenge! Whomever did that to your dog is awful and cowardly and just plain stupid.
It wasn't until I got a dog myself that I started noticing animal abuse, which is more prevalent than I'd care to admit... certainly not just Taiwan. I've heard stories of neighbors trying to poison dogs' water and throwing broken glass shards into yards, etc. Ugh. It makes me sick to think about. Also makes me think my Bowdu doesn't have it so bad, being confined indoors when we're not at home.

Taiwan's not cold, it's hot! Right now we are all sweating to death in the heat and humidity. The ocean is only about thirty miles away, and it rains every evening here, the rainiest summer since I have been here.
